As an alternative to mainstream music, we feature musicians in almost any genre.

We strive to promote a consistent independent music community that is not tainted with major music industry agendas. This entails doing our part to help emerging musicians stand above the crowd.
Our History
Independent Music and Media started in February of 2008 as a local television program that interviewed musicians in the southeast Louisiana area.
It slowly grew into an outlet for musicians all over the country. Hosted by Ced 1, it gave a new flavor to promotions and support for independent artists. As he searched for ways to expand its reach, Ced 1 travelled to different markets such as Dallas, TX and Chicago, IL to continue carving a niche for creative musicians.
